Oregon

Although half the size of Texas, Oregon is still the ninth-largest state in the U.S. The 33rd state added in 1859, Oregon contains two major rivers; in the north of the state is the Columbia River and the Snake River in the east. The state features a breathtaking and diverse landscape, including a Pacific coastline, mountain ranges, forests, shrublands, deserts, and lakes. (Crater Lake is the deepest in the country.)

Aside from being a state of outstanding natural beauty, it also successfully produces goods, including Christmas trees, lumber, and peppermint oil. Its dams generate significant amounts of hydroelectricity, aiding its status as a steady and stable manufacturing hub and alternative energy leader. Oregon’s prospering economy and beautiful environment make it an excellent place to start or further a small business.
