Maine

The Revolutionary War’s first naval action occurred off Maine’s coast in 1775. In 1820, the state was freed from Massachusetts rule and became the nation’s 23rd state. The state’s exports are interesting; 98% of the nation’s low-bush blueberries are grown there, and it’s the country’s primary pulp-paper producer. Additionally, it’s the leading exporter of flat-tin sardines, and its lobster and clam markets are enormous.

Shipbuilding is also a significant industry in Maine, and it’s known as the industry’s center of the East Coast. Tourism is also a factor in the state’s revenue. Its beautiful coastline, beaches, forests, mountains, and lakes draw in national and international visitors. Small business owners wanting a quick start would benefit from being based in this state.
