Arizona
The Mexican-American War in 1848 saw the majority of Arizona’s land being taken from Mexico and admitted into the Union. The state’s climate is hot, and it’s well-known for its stunning deserts and national parks, including the Grand Canyon and Saguaro. On the border between the state and Nevada, the Hoover Dam supplies power to the region as well as California.
Arizona’s chief industries are agriculture (dairy, cattle, and cotton products) and manufacturing (aeronautical, electronic, and communication-based items). Recent years have seen the state enjoy healthy and stable growth economically. As such, it’s a safe bet for small business owners to start up there.
