California is arguably the U.S.’s most famous state, thanks to it being the home of Hollywood, Death Valley, the Pacific Coast Highway, Silicon Valley, and so much more. It’s also the most populated and third-largest U.S. state. In many people’s minds, it represents American culture and geography. California was the location of the 1848 Gold Rush.
More recently, the state has produced the largest film industry in the world, the hippie counterculture, and the personal computer. Its history of innovation, imagination, and entrepreneurship makes the state an enticing place for small businesses to establish themselves and find a large, varied customer base.
