Hi!
I am interested in getting a single-line tattoo on my leg. Something like the cat here: https://img1.rapidleaks.com/2019/05/best-single-line-tattoos-1280×720.jpg
So my question is:
Do you guys specialize in these kind of tattoos?
And how much does it cost to get a tattoo like that?
Size – 3×3 inches
Is it possible to get colors in the tattoo, like in the example?
Happy to hear back from you guys,
Drew
I also have some other questions, so feel free to answer those:
1. What ingredients in the ink you’d use for the colors in the tattoo?
2. Does color ink causes an itchy rash? I have kinda sensitive skin.
3. Can you perform a patch test?
4. Are you a licensed tattoo artist?
5. In case you did some single-line tattoos, can you share some examples?
Thanks!

Email Response
Hello,
Thanks for your email! I will do my best to answer your questions.
We have a studio of 6 tattoo artists who all have a large variety of styles they can do so I can’t answer any of these from a “collective” perspective.
-This particular style of tattoo is pretty common and any of our tattooers could accomplish it. I would say the artist that first comes to mind for a piece like this would be Alex. You can see her portfolio on our website. Currently none of our tattooers except for our apprentice are taking appointments due to their schedules being too full. We notify folks of when an artist opens their schedule through our blog which you can sign up for on the website, or keep an eye out on social media. Once an artist opens up their schedule you can fill out a tattoo request form found on the website and select the tattooer you want to work with (based on who is accepting appointments).
-As far as pricing we don’t give price quotes because each artist prices their own work individually and there are quite a few factors that go into pricing. I can give you an extremely rough estimate of $100-$250 but this could change greatly based on the artist.
-Yes this is possible with color.
-Each artist uses a different variety of ink manufacturers and within each brand there are dozens of different colors, each with their own ingredients list. I wouldn’t be able to list the ingredients of each ink we have within the studio as the list would be never ending! 🙂 This is something you could discuss with your tattooer once your request has been accepted.
-Allergic reactions are always a possibility and unfortunately not something we can predict or prevent. If you have a history of skin issues or sensitivities I would suggest you check in with your doctor before moving forward with a tattoo. A patch test unfortunately is not a good indicator of whether you will react to the tattoo because there will be a slightly different reaction based on the exact location on the body, the skin on that particular part of the body, products used in that area, sun exposure, friction from clothing, and so on.
-Yes, each artist in the studio holds their own current license.
-For examples of our work, including some fine line tattoos, please see the portfolios found on our website.
Thanks and have a great night!
