Hi!

I am interested in getting a single-line tattoo on my leg. Something like the cat here: https://img1.rapidleaks.com/2019/05/best-single-line-tattoos-1280×720.jpg

So my question is:
Do you guys specialize in these kind of tattoos?

And how much does it cost to get a tattoo like that?
Size – 3×3 inches

Is it possible to get colors in the tattoo, like in the example?

Happy to hear back from you guys,
Drew

I also have some other questions, so feel free to answer those:
1. What ingredients in the ink you’d use for the colors in the tattoo?
2. Does color ink causes an itchy rash? I have kinda sensitive skin.
3. Can you perform a patch test?
4. Are you a licensed tattoo artist?
5. In case you did some single-line tattoos, can you share some examples?

Thanks!

Email Response

Hello Drew,
This is something we definitely can do for you! We don’t have any artists that “specialize” in single-line tattoos specifically, but that style is something they would all be familiar with doing. If you wanted to see some of our artists’ work, you can check out their portfolios on our website at addictionstat2.com. Our shop minimum is $75 and the hourly rate is $125, so depending on the final amount of detail you’d like to include, the price for the linework would range around $75-125. We definitely could add the watercolor in the background as well, it would just increase the price as the tattoo would take longer to complete (roughly $125-175).

Did you have a specific placement in mind?

As for your other questions, most professional inks will have a similar makeup. Our artists all use Eternal Ink; you can look up the MSDS Sheet for their ink and it will give you a list of the ingredients. With proper aftercare of the tattoo, you shouldn’t experience any sort of rash, but there will be some redness, flaking/slight scabbing, and itching as part of the normal healing process. We do typically use Derm Shield bandages after the tattoo, but if you have a known adhesive allergy we can always talk about alternative healing methods as the adhesive may cause an irritation on the skin. We definitely can perform a patch test to see how the color heals with your skin- that is just something we would work out with your artist directly. All of our artists are fully licensed by the state of North Dakota and have been tattooing 10+ years, collectively, they have close to 40 years under their belts. To see biographies and examples of their work, I would recommend checking out our website!

Email Response

Drew,
Thanks for contacting us. No one here specializes in this style of tattoo in particular as our artists do many styles but yes they have done this style.

Size will depend on what you want as far as subject matter and placement but in general, they cannot be done overly small if there are a lot of small loops etc. So it is hard to give a price unless we know what you want. And color is not a problem as they do watercolor also.

Now for your other questions, any business front studio and the artists within are licensed by the Fargo Health Dept. if in Fargo city limits.

As far as ink, you can find info at www.eternaltattooink.com for the MSDS sheet as most of our ink used is from them.

If you have an allergic reaction, yes it will itch and be irritated (degree of that would depend on the histamines your body produces in reaction).

There is no way to gauge if you will have a reaction but it is not very common. And no, we do not do patch tests as it would be costly to clients and you would ultimately have a tattoo from it.

If you are overly concerned about it, it may not be the right choice depending on how you handle anxiety. And finally, no, we do not have any examples because we don’t take pictures of every tattoo.

Thanks!
Dead Rockstar
