I am interested in getting a single-line tattoo on my leg. Something like the cat here: https://www.xotly.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/09/Single-Line-Tattoo.jpg
So my question is:
Do you guys specialize in these kind of tattoos?
And how much does it cost to get a tattoo like that?
Size – 3×3 inches
Is it possible to get colors in the tattoo, like in the example?
Happy to hear back from you guys,
I also have some other questions, so feel free to answer those:
1. What ingredients in the ink you’d use for the colors in the tattoo?
2. Does color ink causes an itchy rash? I have kinda sensitive skin.
3. Can you perform a patch test?
4. Are you a licensed tattoo artist?
5. In case you did some single-line tattoos, can you share some examples?
Aces Tattoo has been a staple in the Reno tattoo scene since they first took on clients in 1995 initially under the name “Aeros”. The three artists, Kevin Cox, RobRoy Hiestand, and Jared Isenberg are the founding members and long time friends. Between the staff of five they work in styles such as black and grey, New School, Japanese and American Traditional. Aces is open seven days a week and will work with walk-ins if they can, but it is recommended to set up an appointment beforehand due to their relatively small staff.
Black Cat Tattoo
Black Cat Tattoo is located in the Wells District area of Reno, just blocks away from Midtown. With a small staff of three, they have over six decades of experience between them. The artists do bold, color, portrait work, traditional, freehand, as well as custom pieces for their clients as well as touch-ups and cover ups following a consultation session.
Evolution Tattoo is located on Virginia Street, just south of Midtown. They opened their doors in 2006 to offer the good people of Reno custom tattoos, portraits, cover ups, as well as piercing services. With seven tattooists on staff, they can accommodate likely any style or design that clients have in mind. At Evolution, they pride themselves on working closely with customers to make sure that they get the best quality tattoo possible.
Marked Studios is located in Reno’s southside that goes the extra mile to ensure the best possible experience for clients. Their bright pink walls reflect the bold and colorful works that their artists are known for. The team works in classic, photorealism, portrait, as well as abstract styles. They also have cover up and laser removal services as well to hide past works that clients might not be so proud of. A few things that set Marked Studios apart from the competition is their devotion to quality and comfort. The artists are constantly training to improve their skills, and provide customers with warm quilts and iPads during sessions if they would like.
Reno Tattoo Company
Located in the heart of downtown, Reno Tattoo Company is a small operation consisting of three artists. Despite their size, Nichole Moore, Brain Chambers, and Jordan Isaacson cover a variety of styles such as traditional, modern, realism, as well as illustration. Clients are encouraged to check out the available portfolios on the website to find the right artist for them.
Having started off in 1985 as Shadowbrite Tattoo, Stingray Tattoo has been a staple of the tattoo and piercing scene in Reno for over three decades. They have an impressive team of seven artists on staff that work in countless styles such as geometric, nature, portraits, script, as well as piercing services. If clients are undecided, they have flash and idea books to peruse and help with bringing ideas to life. They also sell tattoo supplies such as tables, chairs, and ink for artists.
Torn Arts is a unique tattoo shop located in central Reno that is open seven days a week. The owner, Candice Liberty has two decades of experience in the tattooing industry.
