Hi!
I am interested in getting a single-line tattoo on my leg. Something like the cat here: https://www.xotly.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/09/Single-Line-Tattoo.jpg
So my question is:
Do you guys specialize in these kind of tattoos?
And how much does it cost to get a tattoo like that?
Size – 3×3 inches
Is it possible to get colors in the tattoo, like in the example?
Happy to hear back from you guys,
Drew
I also have some other questions, so feel free to answer those:
1. What ingredients in the ink you’d use for the colors in the tattoo?
2. Does color ink causes an itchy rash? I have kinda sensitive skin.
3. Can you perform a patch test?
4. Are you a licensed tattoo artist?
5. In case you did some single-line tattoos, can you share some examples?
Thanks!

Hi Drew,
We do not specialize in this type of tattoo.
I encourage you to check out the artist’s work on our website https://www.royalfleshtattoo.com/chicago/tattoo-artists/
and go with the artist that you would like to get tattooed by.
A tattoo like this you can expect to pay $600 -$1000
with color.
A rash or spot test patch will cost $250
We are a licenced tattoo shop, we use all natural organic inks.
You can consult with your artist on any additional questions you may have.
Thanks,
Nick

Email Response
Hi Drew,
We have several artists, most of them can do a lot of different styles. For what you are looking to get, I would suggest contacting Amber Strange (amberstrangetattoos.com/contact) to set up a consultation and appointment. She will be able to give you an idea of cost during the consultation. All of our artists charge by the hour so cost will depend on how long the tattoo takes. Yes, you can get colors like the example if that is what you want.
To answer your other questions:
1. Tattoo ink is not regulated by the FDA therefore they are not required to list the ingredients so we are not 100% sure what is in the ink. All artists use their own preferred ink but all of our artists buy their inks from reputable tattoo suppliers (not amazon) and we have never had an issue with someone reacting to the ink.
2. In general, color ink does not cause any itchy rashes but everyone is different and if you have super sensitive skin, getting a tattoo might not be for you.
3. Yes, we can perform a patch test, you just need to discuss that with the artist you are working with.
4. Illinois does not have a tattoo licensing system and does not require a license to tattoo. We only hire professional tattooers with plenty of experience.
5. You are welcome to check out Amber’s page on our website, her Instagram @amberstrangetattoos and her website to see examples of her work.
You can find more information and answers to your questions on the FAQ page of our website as well.
Best,
Kelly
