Hi!
I am interested in getting a single-line tattoo on my leg. Something like the cat here: https://www.xotly.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/09/Single-Line-Tattoo.jpg
So my question is:
Do you guys specialize in these kind of tattoos?
And how much does it cost to get a tattoo like that?
Size – 3×3 inches
Is it possible to get colors in the tattoo, like in the example?
Happy to hear back from you guys,
Drew
I also have some other questions, so feel free to answer those:
1. What ingredients in the ink you’d use for the colors in the tattoo?
2. Does color ink causes an itchy rash? I have kinda sensitive skin.
3. Can you perform a patch test?
4. Are you a licensed tattoo artist?
5. In case you did some single-line tattoos, can you share some examples?
Thanks!

Email Response
Hey Drew.
Our guys can certainly do something like that for you. Everyone’s fundamentals are exceptional. Adding color splashes is not a problem at all. You can view each artist’s portfolio on our website www.austintattooandlaser.com. There may not be examples of that exact style but you will be able to see that everyone’s line work is solid.
Though Texas does not require individual artists to be licensed, our shop has been licensed through the state for the past 12+ years. Our safety standards are priority and we are very selective with who we hire.
As far as the ink goes, we don’t provide patch tests. Inks these days are typically made from all natural, vegan friendly ingredients. Here is a MSDS sheet for one of the main ink companies: https://www.painfulpleasures.com/media/body_jewelry/gallery/Tattoo/tattoo_ink/eternal_tattoo_ink/eternal_ink_MSDS.pdf
(It says it’s for European standards but the ink is made exactly the same in Detroit)
I hope you find this information helpful. If any other questions come up, please feel free to reach out. We’re happy to help.
